Equipment Logistics Technician

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class hospital in Cleveland, OH to hire an Equipment Logistics Technician. This is a full-time, second shift opportunity (4 PM - 12:30 AM Sunday - Thursday) with a pay rate starting at $15/hour. This role focuses on the recovery, cleaning, inspection, documentation, and redistribution of critical medical equipment throughout the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform targeted rounding in active patient care areas to recover equipment for processing and redistribution
• Clean, inspect, evaluate, and deliver medical devices and equipment, including infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds specialty carts, and durable medical equipment
• Accurately document work activities using an electronic database
• Order supplies, stock patient rooms, and deploy supplies to hospital units and departments
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and available to support patient care needs
• Follow all hospital safety, infection prevention, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hospital, healthcare logistics, or equipment management experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document work activities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile throughout the facility for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport equipment, carts, beds, and supplies weighing up to 100 lbs. or more
• Ability to operate computers, medical equipment, and cleaning equipment
• Ability to inspect, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately document work activities
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and distinguish colors as needed for equipment identification and inspection
