Legacy Security Services is a national central-station monitoring provider serving dealers, homeowners, and businesses with video monitoring, alarm monitoring, PERS and IoT solutions. We offer 24/7 service and pride ourselves on response times and client trust. Our video services include AI analytics, loitering detection, vehicle monitoring, fire/gun detection, and more.
As we expand our video monitoring center, we’re looking for dependable, alert, and customer-oriented Video Dispatchers to join our team.
Your Role:
The Video Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring live video feeds, verifying alarms and events, dispatching appropriate resources, and keeping detailed incident logs. This role requires strong decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to stay focused during long overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor video surveillance systems and analytics for triggering events (person/vehicle detection, loitering, fire, gun, etc.).
- Verify legitimate events and initiate appropriate response protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents, dispatches, and communications.
- Communicate clearly with clients, law-enforcement dispatchers, and internal team members.
- Follow company SOPs, escalation paths, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain vigilance and professionalism during overnight hours; ensure hand-off at shift change is complete and precise.
- Assist in periodic audit reviews of video incidents and reporting.
Schedule:
10 hours shifts - 6PM-4AM and 8PM-6AM
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in security monitoring, dispatching, asset protection, video surveillance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused for extended shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts.
- Familiarity with video analytics platforms is a plus.
- Must pass background check and meet any required licensing (depending on jurisdiction).
