Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales through face-to-face interactions with prospective and existing customers in the field. This position focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. The Sales Representative provides product demonstrations, explains new and updated offerings, and ensures an exceptional customer experience while representing Legacy Safety and Consulting in a professional manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a network of contacts and referral sources to generate new sales leads and business opportunities.
• Communicates with prospective and existing customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Demonstrates product features, functions, and benefits based on customer needs.
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support after the sale.
• Keeps existing and former customers informed about new products, services, updates, and enhancements.
• Maintains accurate and detailed records of sales activities, including customer interactions, calls, orders, sales, lost business, and customer or vendor concerns.
• Prepares and provides periodic sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Represents Legacy Safety and Consulting professionally in all customer interactions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age older to meet the company's vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets the company's requirements for eligibility to be covered under the company's automobile insurance policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Must be able to sit for extended periods while performing administrative tasks and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to travel as required to meet with customers and support sales activities in the assigned territory.
• Must be able to perform face-to-face customer interactions and product demonstrations in various field settings.
