Associate Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Description

We are a full-service independent insurance agency seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to support our Insurance Producers in the sales and service of Commercial Lines accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of account structures, coverage details, and client needs.

The ideal candidate will become proficient in carrier rating platforms and underwriting guidelines while assisting Producers with the marketing and placement of both new and renewal business. Delivering prompt, accurate, and efficient service is essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Maintain and update client databases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Verify policy and account information
• Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with accounting as needed
• Process policy changes and perform ongoing account maintenance
• Review and process audits, including handling audit disputes
• Manage cancellations and reinstatements
• Report, monitor, and update claims activity
• Maintain consistent and detailed activity logs
• Track and manage suspense items to ensure timely follow-up
• Utilize agency management systems and integrated software effectively
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with AMS360 or Applied Epic preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• 1–2 years of commercial lines insurance experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
