Responsibilities
- Daily banking activities.
- Prepare reconciliation of insurance carrier commission statements.
- Prepare reconciliation of company payable statements. Resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and/or account managers.
- Post payments and EFT transactions to customer accounts.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be able to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks.
- Must demonstrate “team player” characteristics, but also be self-motivated.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with Applied EPIC or other insurance agency management system is preferred, but not required.
- College degree not required.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
