Leasing Agent
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, sales, and customer service. As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a key role in leasing apartments and providing excellent customer service to prospective tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Legacy Property Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Specialist to oversee and manage our leasing operations within a designated region
- Ensure that bank deposits are made promptly when payments are received
- Assist with move ins and move outs
- Be detail oriented when it comes to Buildium and Monday softwares
- File evictions when necessary and attend court with our third party attorneys
- Work with upper management to find solutions to issues that arise, and be willing to work as part of a team.
- Respond to emails and escalated customer calls that get passed along from our customer success team.
- Upload community to Zillow and other listing platforms and maintain up to date information on the advertisements
- Present community information to prospective renters in a professional manner to appeal to their rental needs
- Provide accurate information on the selling features of the community and surrounding area
- Conduct showings five days a week. Including some weekends/evenings as needed
- Build positive rapport with potential residents by answering telephone / email / text communications in a timely manner - within 1 business day
- Process applications for prospective residents and follow up to maintain consistent communication
- Understanding of fair housing laws and approving and denying applications correctly
- Prepare information in a formatted way for leases to be written
- Follow procedures to coordinate residents moving in, making sure to properly document events and communicate the status to the proper departments
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
- Must have reliable transportation
- Cell phone required
- Must have laptop (preferred)
- Must have a professional Facebook profile presence to post listings
- Bonus structure for candidates after 60 days on the job
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
