The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for leading Legacy Private Trust Company's marketing, communications, brand, and engagement strategies to support business growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the firm's reputation and market presence. This role ensures consistent, high-quality messaging and experiences across all internal and external communication channels while promoting Legacy's trust, investment, and fiduciary services.
This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The Director develops and executes integrated marketing, communications, digital marketing, content, event, and brand initiatives while leveraging analytics, technology, and data-driven insights to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and business results. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this role aligns marketing efforts with organizational objectives, supports regulatory compliance, and continuously seeks opportunities to enhance Legacy's marketing capabilities and market presence.
As Legacy's primary brand ambassador and culture champion, the Director plays a key role in bringing the firm's values, culture, and identity to life. Initially serving as an individual contributor, this position is responsible for establishing a scalable marketing function, including processes, standards, performance measures, and future team development as the organization grows.

EDUCATION
§Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
§Preferred: Advanced coursework or continuing education in digital marketing, graphic design, communications, or financial services marketing.
EXPERIENCE
§Required: 7+ years of progressive marketing, communications, brand, or business development experience.
§Preferred: 10+ years of experience. 3+ years in a leadership role. Financial services, wealth management, banking, trust, legal, accounting, or professional services experience.
