What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse - Part Time position at Legacy Plastic Surgery?
We are seeking a LPN to join our team on a part time basis. The LPN is primarily responsible for working in our weight loss (GLP1) program. This role will have direct oversight from our medical director and close collaboration with our physicians. As part of the efficient Legacy team, the LPN will work closely with the front desk team and maintain positive relationships with clinical staff, patients, and vendors. The LPN will be cross trained to perform various clinical functions, including assisting with in-office procedures, rooming patients, collecting patient clinical information, performing phlebotomy/IVs, etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Dose and administer GLP1 medications to patients, under the supervision of MDs.
- Insert IVs, perform blood withdrawals
- Answer telephone with company standards to assist patients with requests.
- Input patient data into the electronic medical record system.
- Assist the surgeons when performing in-office procedures, to include sterile field prep and instrument sanitization.
- Represent the practice in a professional and positive manner.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management team.
Schedule:
- 2 to 3 days per week.
