Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas and assist with setting up therapeutic equipment for patient sessions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the therapy team
- Manage patient intake processes, including gathering demographics for new patient intakes
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and therapy logs
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of therapy spaces and equipment at all times
- Provide compassionate patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring comfort throughout therapy sessions
Requirements
- Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings preferred, especially in outpatient environment
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support effective patient care
- Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and sub-acute care settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of patient service principles with a focus on compassionate care and effective communication
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism
