We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN to join a fast-paced, 36-bed, high-acuity ED. The ideal candidate is experienced in rapid assessment, triage, emergency interventions, and patient stabilization.
Position Details

- Shift: Nights (7p-7a)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evidence-based triage across all acuity levels in a high-volume Emergency Department.
- Provide emergency care, rapid stabilization, and critical interventions for medical, surgical, trauma, psychiatric, and pediatric patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patients and operating critical-care equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, EMS, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostics, treatment, and patient disposition.
- Participate in trauma activations, Code Blue, rapid response, stroke, and STEMI protocols; maintain accurate EMR documentation and adherence to patient safety and infection-control standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
Preferred/Required within timeframe after hire:
- TNCC and ENPC certifications (preferred).
- Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings.
Working Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity 36-bed ED with frequent trauma and critical illness exposure, requiring physical activity throughout the shift and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and EMS serving the Lawton community and surrounding areas.
