What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include:

• Building complete leasehold chains of title.
• Analyzing mineral ownership and leasehold interests.
• Reviewing courthouse records, digital records, and supporting documents.
• Identifying title defects and documenting curative requirements.
• Preparing organized, well-supported title reports.
• Communicating with Project Managers regarding questions, issues, and progress.
• Delivering work that is accurate, timely, and ready for client review.

Qualifications

Required:

• Extensive experience performing Leasehold Title (HBP) research.
• Proven ability to independently build complete chains of title.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas title principles.
• Experience identifying title defects and recommending curative.
• Ability to interpret deeds, leases, probate records, assignments, easements, and related instruments.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.

Preferred:

• Due diligence experience.
• Multiple basin experience.
• Curative experience.
• GIS mapping familiarity.
• Experience working in high-volume projects while maintaining exceptional quality.
