Production Associate

Legacy Mutual Mortgage is an outstanding full service residential mortgage lender originating, underwriting and closing conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA and USDA mortgage loans. In business since 2005, we are dedicated to meeting the home loan needs of individual homebuyers while working with our real estate partners. • Ensures timely and accurate set up of loan files.
• Orders verifications, appraisals and final inspections as needed and updates loan files.
• Orders all insurance, title work, surveys, etc.
• Communicate with Production Association II and Processor when issues need resolution.
• Maintains up-to-date pipeline at all times.
• Uploads all received third party documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Must maintain regular attendance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating, or a combination of all aspects preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week during normal business hours.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applications.
• Must be proficient in Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator, Loan Prospector, and Originations systems.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and maintain professionalism.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
• Must be proficient with major correspondent and wholesale channels and their guidelines, including their websites and pricing engines
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
