What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Worker - Swing Shift position at Legacy Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
Two days 5:30a to 1:30p and two days 1:30p to 9:30p
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to company standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Inspect and treat stained or damaged items
- Maintain inventory of linens and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
- Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different fabrics
As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our nursing home's linens and towels. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to providing a positive resident experience.
