• Maintain Central Agency Files (CAF), including organizing, scanning, labeling, and archiving documents.
• Manage compliance with FOIA regulations, process requests, maintain the FOIA database, and draft responses.
• Serve as the agency’s records custodian, interact with NARA, and ensure compliance with federal records schedules.
• Provide records management training to staff and conduct onboarding/offboarding briefings.
• Generate required reports and support agency records self-assessment.
Qualification Requirements
• College degree in business or information management, or related certifications required.• SECRET security clearance required.
Experience and Skills
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience, with at least 5 years in records management including FOIA.• Proven ability to create and implement policies, procedures, and retention schedules.
• Experience providing training and technical assistance.
• Proficiency in databases, word processing, and data entry software.
• Physical ability to move large number of files or file boxes.
