Leasing Consultant

Legacy is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Full-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team at a 366-unit, market-rate community in Saginaw Township, MI. This role is key to driving occupancy, delivering exceptional resident experiences, and supporting the overall success of the property. As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will be responsible for showcasing the community, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and ensuring a smooth and positive move-in experience. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. This position requires flexibility, including some evenings and weekends, as well as occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience preferred 
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse personalities 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Outgoing, professional, and strong interpersonal communication skills 
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws required 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
• Real Estate License preferred, or ability to obtain; candidates without a license must begin the licensing process within 6 months of employment 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required 
• Yardi experience preferred
