Construction Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our landscaping team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing your expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality building processes. Your hands-on approach and technical knowledge will help bring construction plans to life, supporting everything from foundational work to finishing touches. Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment setup to ensure smooth workflow.
• Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently for tasks such as concrete pumping, framing, and demolition.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete finishing to meet quality standards.
• Conduct masonry work including stucco, tile laying, and brickwork as required by project scope.
• Support renovation and restoration projects by performing carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and plastering tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on roofing, metal stud framing, flooring installation, and other specialized construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and handling hazardous materials on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes and safety procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in masonry, concrete finishing, framing (including metal stud framing), roofing, and tile laying.
• Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving or heavy equipment operation certification preferred.
• Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; eager to learn new skills in renovation and restoration projects. Pay: $17.10 - $30.44 per hour
