Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tulsa, OK, for a High School Teacher at Legacy International Online High School. The High School Teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing engaging lesson plans, delivering subject-specific instruction (primarily Physics), fostering a supportive learning environment, and evaluating student performance. Collaboration with colleagues and maintaining effective communication with students and parents are integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Core subject area and Education to deliver high-quality instruction and understanding of effective teaching methods in an online setting
- Strong Lesson Planning and Teaching skills to prepare and conduct engaging, curriculum-aligned classes
- Excellent Communication abilities to interact efficiently with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for fostering student growth, creativity, and success in a collaborative academic atmosphere
- Master’s degree or higher in Education or a related field and relevant teaching certification
- Experience in teaching high school students is preferred
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
