Asset Remarketing Manager
We are a Fort Worth-based manufactured housing company seeking a motivated Asset Remarketing Manager to join our Finance Department in Bedford, TX. This role is responsible for managing the remarketing process for repossessed and used manufactured homes, including coordinating transportation, overseeing repairs and refurbishment, and maximizing resale value through our dealer network.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufactured housing, construction, remodeling, or sales, along with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Although experience in these areas is preferred, candidates with successful track records in other fields are welcome to apply. This position requires someone who can operate independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work closely with both internal teams and external partners.
This is a full-time position based in Bedford, TX, with occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the transportation, refurbishment, and resale of repossessed and used home inventory
· Coordinate repairs and improvements to maximize resale value
· Source and negotiate with vendors, contractors, and transport companies
· Work with our dealer network to market and sell available inventory
· Track inventory, repair costs, and resale margins
· Maintain accurate reports, projections, and performance metrics
· Ensure timely turnaround of inventory to minimize holding costs
· Meet monthly department performance goals
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
· Experience in manufactured housing, construction, remodeling, or property management
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Sales or dealership experience is a plus
· Must reside in the Fort Worth / Mid-Cities area
· Ability to pass a background check, which may include criminal, credit, educational, and employment verification
