Key Responsibilities
As a Medication Technician, you will:
- Administer medications and treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse
- Assist residents while maintaining dignity, privacy, and residents' rights
- Accurately document medication administration and changes in condition
- Perform basic treatments, including simple dressing changes and skin care
- Support residents with personal needs while promoting independence
- Complete delegated tasks as assigned by nursing leadership
This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.
Qualifications
- Current Caregiver or CNA Certification required
- Certified Med Tech required
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with resident transfers
- Willingness and desire to work with senior residents
- A respectful, empathetic, and dependable approach to care
