What You'll Do
As the Recreation Director, you will lead, train, and support the Life Enrichment and Activities team to deliver vibrant, meaningful programs that encourage social connection, wellness, and fulfillment for our residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all recreation and life enrichment programming
- Coaching and developing the activities team
- Designing engaging monthly calendars and standout events that align with company standards
- Introducing fresh, innovative programming that fosters creativity, wellness, and community
- Collaborating with the Executive Director to ensure compliance with company and state guidelines
- Tracking participation, gathering resident feedback, and identifying opportunities to elevate experiences
What We're Looking For
- Experience in recreation, life enrichment, or activities leadership (senior living or healthcare preferred)
- Strong leadership abilities with prior team management experience
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
- A creative, resident-centered mindset
- CTRS or similar certification is a plus
