As a Medication Technician - Caregiver, you play an essential role in ensuring the well-being of our assisted living residents. Your work centers around maintaining the dignity and privacy of those under our care while keeping them safe and secure. You have the opportunity to provide personal and medical care, helping residents with everything from regular medication administration to complex medical procedures like insulin injections and wound care. Schedule: PM shift, 2:00 pm- 10:30 pm.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A MEDICATION TECHNICIAN - CAREGIVER
- Must possess a current AZ caregiver certificate
- Must possess a current fingerprint clearance card
- Must possess a current negative TB result
- Must possess a current food handlers card
- Must possess a current CPR/First Aid card
- Must complete designated training program as prescribed by the supervisor.
- Ability to care for and effectively communicate with senior residents, families, supervisors, and employees
- Physical ability to assist in lifting and transferring assisted living residents
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and push, pull, bend, and reach
