As the Senior Living Activities Assistant in our assisted living community, you are the "go-to" person for fun and excitement. Your role is vital because you're the one who makes our residents' days brighter by offering a variety of activities. Our residents count on you to entertain them every day, and you have the opportunity to interact with them through a wide range of activities like board games, dancing, crafting, and baking, among others.
You work hand in hand with our team to create an events calendar and lead daily activities that keep our assisted living residents happy and engaged. You enjoy decorating the location for special occasions and setting up for events, making sure that our seniors have memorable experiences. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR LIVING ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT
- Must be at least 21 years old
- An outgoing, social, creative, compassionate, and patient personality
- Computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Able to assist the elderly in wheelchairs/walkers
- A clean driving record and the ability to drive a transportation bus (no specific license is required for this bus)
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and fantastic organizational skills
