Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process patient billing data for all payor types in accordance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
- Maintains complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records.
- Manage and monitor account receivables including monitoring timely payments and submitting remittances.
- Coordinates with accounts payable to ensure facilities payments are processed correctly and timely.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificate of Billing from accredited source or two years of healthcare related billing experience
- Detailed knowledge of CMS regulations and billing practices
- Preferred 1 year of hospice billing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
