Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions
- Answer call lights promptly and courteously
- Assist residents during meals as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and comfort
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Current South Dakota CNA certification, or ability to obtain certification
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
