What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Legacy Healing Detox LLC?
Legacy Healing Center is searching for the STRONGEST, most qualified, hardworking, responsible, compassionate, energetic, staff in the world to provide outstanding care and supervision to our clients and staff. We are currently beginning the talent search and vetting process.
The Group Facilitator is a multidisciplinary part of the clinical team. Facilitators are responsible for providing group therapy and documenting within the electronic medical record.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Demonstrates knowledge of chemical dependency and addictions and utilizes knowledge and skills to access and meet the client’s treatment needs and requirements.
- Documents as required in client chart.
- Conducts process groups, educational, chemical dependency, and other groups as assigned.
- Ability to work as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity.
- Demonstrates good communication skills.
- Performs in a professional manner and role models a positive image of substance abuse.
- Reports abuse of clients’ rights immediately.
- Participates in obtaining the client’s informed consent for procedures, treatments, and research, as appropriate.
- Acts decisively and effectively in managing staff, clients, and other employees during emergency situation.
- Performs other capacities as needed.
- Being sensitive to Cultural Issues of a patient based on their job position
- Ability of competency and understanding to Addition based on their job position.
- Reporting and responding to issues of Trauma of a patient based on their job position.
- Reporting and responding to issues of Dual – Diagnosis issues of a patient based on their job position.
