Job description
Legacy Healing Center in Parsippany, NJ has an immediate opening for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. If autonomy and consistent work is something you seek, this is the position for you. This person will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Daily maintenance requests of both commercial and residential properties including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry
- Diagnosing deficiencies and providing recommendations on how to resolve issues and implementing these recommendations, when applicable
- Budgeting and planning
- Preventative Maintenance scheduling and completion of items
- Providing updates and timelines on completion of projects
- Develop relationships with outside vendors and negotiate rates for projects
- Fleet vehicle maintenance
- Completion of checklists and auditing forms, as needed
- After-hours calls, as needed
- Miscellaneous tasks, as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years’ experience in the field of general repairs, including at least one (1) year experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, and air conditioning, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
