Certified Medical Assistant – Cherry Hill, NJ
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 | Full-Time | Onsite Only
Legacy Healing Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our medical team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on supporting medical care for clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate team player who’s ready to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete client intake assessments and document vital signs
- Support medical staff with routine care, medication observation, and recordkeeping
- Maintain up-to-date medical documentation in the EHR
- Assist with lab draws, referrals, and care coordination
- Ensure a safe and clean medical environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Observe and report client symptoms or concerns to appropriate medical personnel
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Experience working in substance use or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and compliance
- Team-oriented and dependable in a clinical setting
