Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours per week

Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Legacy Haven LLC is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and caring Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide quality support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a consistent Monday–Friday afternoon/evening position beginning August 17th. We are looking for someone who takes their responsibilities seriously, communicates well, and can be counted on to show up on time and provide consistent support.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support according to the individual's ISP and needs
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed
- Support meal preparation and household routines
- Assist with community activities, appointments, and outings
- Provide medication assistance/reminders as authorized
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Complete daily documentation accurately and on time
- Follow behavioral support strategies and individual plans
- Communicate important updates or concerns with management
- Encourage independence, choice, and community involvement
- Follow Legacy Haven and Ohio DODD requirements and procedures
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Dependable and punctual
- Detail-oriented, especially with documentation and following individual plans
- Patient, respectful, and compassionate
- Able to work independently
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Able to consistently work Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–8:30 PM
- Professional, personable, and engaging with the individuals we support
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous DSP, HPC, home health, caregiving, or developmental disability experience preferred
- Current DODD-required certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
- CPR/First Aid and medication administration certification are a plus
