The Care Center Coordinator serves an important role in the facility, assisting in the performance of duties for the care center team, as well as managing daily activities. The coordinator is responsible for leading all aspects of the care center activities and assisting with daily tasks to help optimize communication between the care center and the funeral directors. The Care Center Coordinator will also focus on optimizing resources and procurement needs while servicing the company's area funeral homes.

Specific Responsibilities
- Care for deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks which include performing intake of deceased, obtaining personal items from decedents for return to their families, preparing the deceased for transports, and performing weekly cooler inventories
- Adhere to all professional, municipal, state/provincial, and federal licensing authority regulations applicable to funeral homes and human remains
- Create and maintain reports for decedent tracking, decedents in our care, and cases lost to outside funeral homes.
- Promote a safe work environment be being aware of and practicing universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct.
- Assist with maintenance of preparation room and the facility; receive and maintain inventory for caskets and other funeral home supplies.
- Requires standing, lifting, pulling, and pushing over 100lbs throughout the course of the day.
- Admin and clerical work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Care Center operations, processes, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of computers and software applications is required
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Care Center/Funeral Home operations, processes, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of computers and software applications is required
- Valid Driver's License
