Legacy Financial Group's Tax and Accounting division is growing, and we're looking for a CPA to join our team in Des Moines. You'll report directly to our Tax Director and work alongside our tax and accounting staff to deliver high-quality tax preparation, planning, and accounting services to a diverse client base β including individuals, businesses, and non-profits.

Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, business, and entity tax returns.
- Support tax planning strategies for clients under the direction of the Tax Director.
- Assist with IRS and state agency correspondence and audits as needed.
- Perform accounting services including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and bookkeeping support.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with the broader tax and accounting team, as well as LFG's advisory staff, to provide coordinated service to shared clients.
- Stay current on tax law changes and identify planning opportunities for clients.
- Special projects as they arise.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (Iowa) or actively pursuing licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree a plus.
- Experience in public accounting preferred, but newly licensed or CPA-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of individual and business tax preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-first approach.
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office; experience with Redtail CRM a plus.

Office Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
- Friday: 8am - 4pm
(Seasonal hours may extend during tax season.)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
