What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at Legacy Eyecare LLC?

Essential duties:
- Provide patients with extraordinary care and education through each step of their appointments, including follow-ups and adjustments to their frames.
- Pre-test, take visual acuities, and record notes/scribe for each patient.**
- Find the frames and lenses that best suit each individual patient and their needs.
- Educate patients on the materials for the best vision possible while coordinating with insurance.
- Occasionally help greet patients, check-in, and prepare charts.
**No certification or previous training is necessary, we will train the right person to pre-test, scribe, help and fit patients in eyewear that will have them looking good and seeing better!
Qualifications:
- Friendly and patient-oriented with strong people and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment with an attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of computers and application systems.
- Background in medical and/or optical is helpful but not required.

Office Hours:
- 8AM-6PM Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
- 8-4:30PM Thursday
- 8AM-2PM Saturday
- Closed Tuesday and Sunday
