SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE – Crafting Success Under Three Pillars:

Client and Technical Relations:

• Partner with the Geotechnical team to refine testing processes.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to ensure lasting collaboration and future work.
• Review and sign reports.

Operational Excellence and Development:

• Collaborate closely with the CMT manager, tracking the department annual business plan, and vision.
• Engage in proposal preparations and oversee cost estimates.
• Mentor technicians and lab personnel. Organize insightful training sessions, keeping lab managers updated on tests, procedures, and equipment.
• Join at least one professional and one technical organization, ensuring you stay at the forefront of industry innovations.

Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:

• Head our CMT Lab, setting the standard for Lab Managers and Field Technicians.
• Visit project sites (as required) to observe, inspect, document issues, and prepare reports with recommendations to remedy the issues.
• Help manage larger materials testing projects
• Champion consistency in every role aspect, ensuring that we always meet the highest benchmarks.

Education/Experience:

• Licensed Professional Engineer(preferred). Or able to get your P.E. within six months.
• ACI Certified (Preferred)
• Additional certifications a plus

Qualifications/Skills

• Materials Testing experience required
• Management experience desired
• Geotechnical Engineering experience desired
• Project management experience

Job Type: Full Time, Salary, Exempt

In-office with occasional travel to job sites

Hours: (Mon – Fri, 7am – 5pm, hours may vary depending on work needs)

Salary: Competitive

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match 3% and 50% up to 5%, PTO, and Sabbatical Leave after 3-year work anniversary.

Must be capable of working independently on construction sites where louder noises are common. This role requires driving to various job sites, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina for extended periods of standing. These physical capabilities are essential for effectively managing the varied and dynamic aspects of construction project management, ensuring both individual efficiency and the overall success of projects.
