Job Description

As an EMT at Legacy EMS, you will play a vital role in providing medical care to individuals in need. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to emergency calls and assessing the medical needs of patients.
• Administering necessary medical treatments and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Transporting patients to medical facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Currently certified as an EMT in the state of Colorado OR NREMT
• CPR certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to obtain a flight line driver license (483).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• FEMA ICS Courses (ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700) Required.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a thorough background and health screening
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This contract works 12, 24, and 48 hour shifts.
