Job Title: Accounting & Payroll Administrator
Location: San Fernando, CA
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for processing weekly payroll, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, ADP TotalSource, and Microsoft Office, along with a strong understanding of general accounting principles and payroll best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP TotalSource
- Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Accounting & Reconciliations
- Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform credit card reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Enter and code Accounts Payable invoices into Sage Intacct
- Assist with vendor setup, including preparation and issuance of 1099 forms
General Accounting Support
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities as needed
- Support auditors or external partners by providing requested documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of accounting and payroll experience (or similar combination of experience and education)
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct and ADP TotalSource strongly preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Attributes
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting workflows
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000/year (depending on experience)
Full time, in office position. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
