General Tradesman (Entry-Level) — Tenant Improvement Construction

Legacy Contractor Services is looking for a hard-working, reliable person who's ready to learn construction from the ground up. This isn't a "hand you a broom" labor job — it's a real, hands on apprenticeship into commercial construction. You'll train directly under experienced tradesmen on every phase of a tenant improvement build, and walk away with skills that follow you for life. 

We're not looking for someone who already knows how to swing a hammer. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, wants to learn, and takes pride in doing the job right. If that's you, we'll teach you the rest. 

What You'll Be Trained On 

Framing 

Trim carpentry 

Painting & staining 

Drywall finishing 

Flooring installation 

Fixture & hardware installation 

General jobsite support across active tenant improvement projects 

You'll work alongside our project teams on real commercial buildouts — restaurants, retail spaces, offices, and more — picking up a new skill with every project. 

What We're Looking For

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to job sites 

Able to pass a background check and drug screening 

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a full workday 

Shows up on time, every time 

Willing to learn, take direction, and put in the work 

No experience necessary — we provide the training 

Pay & Growth 

Starting pay is $21–$24/hour based on experience. As you build skills across each trade, your pay grows with you. We're building a structured training path that ties raises directly to the skills you actually master — so you always know exactly what's next and what it's worth. This role has a real ceiling: dedicated tradesmen have a clear path to becoming a lead General Tradesman on our crews. We pay every two weeks.
