Behavioral Health Rep II - Northline (Job Overview)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (7AM-7PM) | Hybrid

As a Behavioral Health Representative II, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless support for our on-site behavioral health providers, particularly Psychiatrists.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage efforts surrounding BI reporting.
• Obtain collateral patient information from schools and other providers/hospitals as needed.
• Process external referrals in a timely manner.
• Ensure all referrals are completed and relevant documents are in the medical record.
• Review the schedule daily for pre-visit preparations.
• Call patients at risk for a no-show before appointments.
• Coordinate with BHC or PCP for scheduling urgent patients.
• Assist with training new hires and provide 1-1 shadowing.
• Assist with patient complaints and emergencies when BH Supervisor is unavailable.
• Attend mandatory all-staff meetings.
• Provide data entry and administrative support.
• Cross cover remotely and travel to other locations for coverage as needed.
• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
• Promote effective teamwork to meet department goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or one year related experience required.
• BLS (CPR & AED) Certification required.
• One year of behavioral health or clinical experience required.
• Two years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Good communication skills, both direct and telephone.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Leadership ability for program management.
• Effective communication/interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English and Spanish speaking preferred.
