What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Member Service Associate position at Legacy Community Federal Credit Union?
Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Monday, Wednesday, Friday part time travel Member Service Associate.
Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area. Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs at our eight branches in the greater Birmingham area. We have been loyal to the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955.
We are also committed to providing competitive pay to our employees, as well as excellent benefits. We offer two retirement plans: 401(k) with discretionary match and a Cash Balance Defined Benefit Plan and Trust. We also have 4 hours of pay for 12 paid holidays, 6 vacation days, and 5 sick days for our employees! This is a part time position, with the standard hours being Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm. This position does need to be able to travel to all ten of our branches in the greater Birmingham area.
In this part time Member Service Associate position, we rely on you to effectively assist our members with all of their financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service. From basic cash handling to withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments, and more, our members depend on you to do everything with precision and care. As needed, you recommend and sell products and services, and direct members to various departments for specific information and/or services that cater to their individual needs/goals. In addition to helping our members, you are happy to jump in and perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone. - Prior customer service experience
- Experience handling money
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 month of related experience needed
