Security Guard

Legacy is looking for a Seasonal Part Time Security Guard that can work with a talented team to ensure the continued growth of the Company. The Main function of the Seasonal Part Time Security Guard position is to assist with the day-to-day security of a manufactured housing/RV community.

In this role you will:

• •Patrol Property, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions.  
• •Monitor surveillance equipment and access points
• •Be visible, courteous, and observant always, greeting residents, guests, and vendors.
• •Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
• •Must provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
• •Help enforce all property rules and regulations.
• •All other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications / Skills/ Abilities

•   Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays

•   Must be able to handle confrontation and be adept to deescalating conflict

•   Possess the ability to enforce property rules and identify emergency situations

•   Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory driving record.

•   Ability to pass a background check and drug sreening.

•   Needs to have the level of fitness that allows for parts of property rounds to be walked

•   Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

•   Excellent time management skills

•   Helpful courteous attitude

•   Excellent knowledge of security protocols

•   Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 30lbs

Work Environment

This position is primarily outside with a work schedule of 20 hours per week. Community Manager/Regional Manager will provide a work schedule to meet community needs. At times, weekly work schedules may vary and include evening hours or weekends depending on community needs.  

Salary : $18 - $20
