What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Leader position at Legacy Church?
Overview & Responsibilities
The Worship Leader helps to create a culture of worship, focusing on helping people encounter God. The WL will work in a team-orientated environment assisted by other staff at both Campuses, and by volunteers. This role reports directly to the Lead Pastor.
· Plan and execute weekly rehearsal and worship services in collaboration with other worship pastors and Lead Pastor.
· Be able to effectively use Planning Center Online and Pro Presenter for scheduling, communicating with team members, creating and loading service flows, etc.
· Create a culture where team members feel loved and cared for.
· Lead team members to grow in both heart (love for God) and skill (vocals, instrument, etc).
· Successfully recruit, train, and develop volunteers.
· Attendance at staff meetings, 1:1 meetings with Direct Report, and/or church wide leadership gatherings may be required as schedule permits and are included in weekly hours.

Resignation/Termination The WP may be immediately terminated in cases of insubordination, and for failure to perform the duties as outlined, or refusal to adhere to expectations as outlined. The WP shall agree to provide thirty days prior notice of his/her intended resignation with the exception of extenuating circumstances that will not allow for such notice.
Background Investigation Prior to being accepted for employment, applicant shall be subjected to a background investigation to assist in determining suitability for employment. And annual background checks will be required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12,000.00 - $16,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
