Role Description

This position includes:

• Measuring, fitting, and installing boat covers and enclosures

• Porch enclosure installation

• Upholstery removal and installation

• Hardware installation

• Pipe bending

• Printing jobs on our plotter table

• Taking electronic measurements for CAD layouts

The Boat Canvas Installation Technician is a part or full-time, on-site role based in Port Clinton, OH. This role is responsible for installing, fitting, and securing boat canvas products such as covers, biminis, enclosures, and related hardware. Day-to-day tasks include measuring boats, templating and fitting canvas, performing minor adjustments and troubleshooting fit issues, and routing fasteners as needed. The technician will inspect completed work for quality, collaborate with team members in the shop and on the dock, and communicate with customers about installation details, care, and basic maintenance. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and supporting a clean and organized work area.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Port Clinton, OH worksite

No experience necessary! Knowledge of boats and canvas is helpful, but we provide training on all aspects of the job.
