Legacy Buddy Internship — Marketing, AI Research & Venture Growth

Legacy Buddy is building the Credit Karma for generational wealth — a consumer fintech platform helping families understand, organize, and improve their estate, insurance, wealth, and family planning readiness.

Families start with a free LQ™ Score, similar to a credit score for generational wealth. From there, Legacy Buddy helps them identify planning gaps, organize important documents, connect verified financial data, and take the next step — whether that means creating documents, improving protection, or connecting with the right estate, insurance, or wealth professional.

We are building a company at the intersection of fintech, AI, legaltech, wealth management, insurance, and consumer marketplaces — with the ambition to become the default platform families use to build, grow, and pass on wealth.

This internship is ideal for a college student who wants hands-on startup experience, wants to learn how venture-backed companies are built, and is excited about using AI tools to move fast.

What You’ll Work On

As a Legacy Buddy intern, you will support a mix of marketing, research, investor outreach, and growth projects, including:

• Helping create social media, email, and marketing campaigns
• Researching venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, and strategic partners
• Supporting outreach for Legacy Buddy’s fundraising process
• Using AI tools to research markets, competitors, investors, professional partners, and customer segments
• Helping build lead lists for estate attorneys, wealth advisors, insurance professionals, and potential partners
• Assisting with pitch deck research, market sizing, and investor materials
• Helping identify growth opportunities for the consumer platform
• Supporting creator, influencer, and campus ambassador strategies
• Testing new AI workflows to make the company faster and smarter

We are looking for someone who is curious, ambitious, organized, and excited to work inside an early-stage startup.

You do not need years of experience. You do need energy, follow-through, and a willingness to learn fast.

Work Style

This is a flexible remote internship. You can work from your dorm room, apartment, or home. We care more about output, communication, and creativity than where you work from.

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship, with the possibility of a stipend based on role, contribution, time commitment, and company milestones. We are also open to working with students seeking academic credit where applicable.
