Are you passionate about mental health and looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real impact? Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Human Service Tech to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, HST’s STs provides services to consumers with a MH, SA or Dual Diagnosis in a 24/7 residential crisis center. HSTs provide training and education on daily living skills and necessary housekeeping duties. Assists with admissions/discharge or transfer process in accordance with policies of facility and unit guidelines/expectations. Monitors and documents consumer progress in treatment using the designated format and within established time frames. Computer knowledge and extensive documentation is required. Incumbents must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Human Service Technician will be supervised by the Nurse Manager.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions (may be corrected with glasses or contact lenses). The position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching.

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED; required
- Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification.
