We are seeking a Site Manager to work in our West Park Residential Department in Valdosta, GA. Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Director of Idd, supervises the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 community group home. The manager ensures safety of persons served and monitors protocols to ensure they take medications as prescribed, receive daily skill building, are linked to community resources and programs and follow household rules. The manager schedules people served for medical and lab appointments and assigns staff to transport them. This position also hires, trains, and supervises Direct Support Professionals. In addition, the manager ensures all services are provided and documented according to standards. Must be flexible with work hours and available to staff 24/7.
The Site Manager will be supervised by the Administrative Director of IDD.
Requirements:
- BA degree in nursing, psychology or a Social Service field and at least 2 years of working with developmentally disabled individuals; required.
- Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license; required.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and team building.
- Computer experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; required
