The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and customer service. You must be detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Under the immediate supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Agent is responsible for all aspects of leasing production at an apartment community. You will answer phones in a friendly and professional manner with a pleasant telephone voice and attitude. It is important to keep our residents happy and satisfied with the level of customer service we provide and maintain high occupancy levels. Some flexibility in your work schedule may be necessary to show prospective renters our complex.
The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospects, and vendors. In addition, the position requires, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ensure the proper preparation and execution of the lease agreement and related move-in paperwork
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize wisely
- Top notch customer service skills
- Ensure the proper collection of all funds and move-in related fees
- Communicating with vendors and maintenance staff
- Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
- Ability to lease apartments
- Completes all leasing paperwork needed prior to move-in
- Ensure all prospects receive a follow up call or email within a reasonable time-frame
- Meet, greet & tour leasing prospects
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of site leasing trends, traffic patterns and product availability
- Ensure the proper execution of all screening procedures
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
Good Computer Skills are a must
- Must Have: Computer Knowledge, Microsoft Office Programs and Google
