Responsibilities
- Process a variety of financial transactions for customers including, but not limited to: receiving funds, posting transactions and paying out funds as requested, issuing cashier's checks, gift cards, and completing change orders, process the redemption of bonds, cash checks according to written procedures.
- Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any offages. Appropriately applying policies.
- Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.
- Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and branch managers in fulfilling customer requests and merchant verifications.
- Must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel to and from work at multiple branch locations based on a rotating schedule, including Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and occasional Saturday mornings.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and all security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience will put you ahead.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel to and from work at multiple branch locations based on a rotating schedule, including Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and occasional Saturday mornings.
