The Market Retail Manager leads and supports multiple retail banking locations, ensuring a consistent, relationship-focused customer experience while driving team performance, operational excellence, and business results. Reporting to the SVP of Retail, the person in this role is passionate about developing people, building high-performing teams, and bringing individuals together to achieve shared goals. The Market Retail Manager serves as a coach and mentor, empowering branch managers and employees to grow, collaborate, and deliver outstanding service that strengthens customer relationships and reinforces Legacy Bank's reputation as a trusted financial partner.

Working closely with Retail Operations and the other Market Retail Manager, the Market Retail Manager is responsible for executing retail strategies, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, and organizational priorities across assigned branches, ensuring consistent implementation, strong adoption, and impactful results. Through strong leadership, team development, strategic execution, and a commitment to service excellence, the Market Manager helps bring Legacy Bank's brand promise to life while contributing to the long-term success of our customers, employees, and communities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Drives branch performance by monitoring production, solutions, customer experience, staffing, and operational metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and partnering with leaders to achieve established goals. Ensures a consistent, high-quality customer experience throughout the branch network through coaching, performance monitoring, service standards, and proactive resolution of customer concerns and escalations.
Provides leadership, coaching, and performance management for Branch Managers and branch teams across an assigned geographic area, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, service excellence, and alignment with the Bank's mission and values. Leads workforce planning, hiring/onboarding, talent development, and retention efforts for assigned branches to ensure adequate staffing and leadership continuity.
Supports the successful implementation and execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, strategic initiatives, and customer growth objectives across the branch network.
Partners with Retail Operations, BSA/Compliance and branch leadership to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards while maintaining a strong risk management culture.
Builds and maintains strong community and business relationships, representing the Bank in local events, networking opportunities, and market development activities that support growth and brand awareness.
Promotes and models the Bank's Core Values of Relationships, Empowerment, Reliability, Kindness, and Legacy in all interactions with employees, customers, and community partners.
Participates in branch openings/closings and Saturday rotations as needed to ensure staffing coverage.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
