Description
The Warehouse Associate provides seasonal warehouse assistance to the operations team in support of company and sales goals.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Pick and stage loads for outbound shipment
- Verify pick lists for accuracy of products, lot numbers. and product counts
- Wrap and label pallets/packages
- Assist with blending and bagging of seed
- Assist with inventory control and physical counts
- Assist with cleaning of warehouse as needed - sweeping, garbage pickup, maintaining layout, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Able to work in warehouse conditions with limited heating and cooling
- Excellent communication skills-internal and external
- Excellent customer service skills-internal and external
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience in warehouse or production environment
