Civil Site Foreman
We are a family-owned Excavation Company located in Ridgefield, WA looking to hire a Site Foreman to join our team. This position is for individuals who are self-motivated, hard-working, and committed to safety. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable and willing to learn and develop their skills
Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors/managers, direct reports, vendors, etc.
· Supervise and manage a crew of 2-10 people on residential and commercial projects.
· Maintain and follow workplace safety guidelines.
· Pre-plan tasks by utilizing manpower and equipment to complete the job within a scheduled time frame.
· Track time and quantities and complete daily timecards and daily reports
· Operate heavy equipment such as but not limited to excavators, dozers, grader, off road haul trucks, loaders, backhoes, etc.
Requirements:
· Five (5) years prior experience in civil construction.
· Prior experience as a site foreman or similar role.
· Ability to read plans and visualize a project from start to finish, in order to maximize efficiency.
· Must be able to generate efficient methods quickly to extinguish delays
· Ability to read survey staking and utilize rotary lasers, grade rods and provide clean layouts
· Knowledge of varying municipal codes and construction practices
· Must have basic computer/technical skills and willing to learn new technology
· Current certification in Confined Space, Competent Person, First Aid/CPR
· Trimble GPS experience with rover, base station and cab kits is a plus.
· Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
We operate Monday-Friday with some Saturday’s. The ideal candidate should be available to work 40 hours per week.

Compensation starting at $32 – $50 per hour depending on experience.
