What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Hand Painting Artist position at Leftbank Art?
We are looking for a skilled Hand Painter/Texture Artist to join our team. As a Hand Painter/Texture Artist, you will be responsible for replicating unique and visually appealing textures by hand painting and hand embellishing various surfaces. You will be required to have a keen eye for detail and be skilled in color mixing to create the desired color palette. Portfolio Submission Required for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand paint and hand embellish surfaces
- Create unique textures by using various techniques and tools, such as brushes, sponges, stencils, and rollers.
- Mix colors to create the desired color palette and apply them accurately to the surface.
- Collaborate with designers, creative directors, and other artists to develop ideas and concepts.
- Follow project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Hand Painter/Texture Artist.
- Spanish speaking strongly encouraged
- Good understanding of color theory and ability to mix colors accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent and high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with a variety of surfaces and materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
