A well-established real estate developer is seeking a Project Coordinator for their offices in Manhattan, NY and Jersey City, NJ. The individual will assist with managing and coordinating development related projects for a mix of multi-family residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and amenity properties. Specific Responsibilities:Assist with managing all aspects of development projectsReview blueprints and drawings for all designated projects, including providing comments and take-offsTrack and manage project schedulingAct as Owner Liaison to architects, contractors, commercial tenants, etc.Request estimates and assist with the bid process to ensure successful close, including assisting to write scopes of works and pricing sheetsFollow design guidelines and maintain project schedules and budgetsAssist with the successful negotiation and pricing of design servicesFollow established guidelines and procedures to increase communication and overall efficiencyAssist with managing subcontractor activities and FF&E material orderingParticipate in the planning phase of construction projectsBuild and maintain relationships with consultants, and vendor contacts and leadsPrepare well-written reports and business correspondenceAdministrative duties to include meeting minutes; team updates; project tracking and design coordinationAdditional duties as neededRequirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design-related academic field 0 – 2 years’ experience. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprintsBackground in architecture, interior design or civil engineering is a plusPossesses a proactive attitude, flexibility and quick adaptation to different issues and circumstances that arise Balances team and individual responsibilities contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interestsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFollows instructions and responds to management direction; commits to working to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Proficiency in design software (AutoDesk, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) and Microsoft Office. Must demonstrate ability to sketch or render either directly or using AI tools. Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
